ABOUT PRYOR KNOWLEDGE

Educator. Leader. Partner.

Every child deserves to feel confident, capable, and excited to learn. For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach meaningful goals—through encouragement, personalized support, and strong partnerships with families.

Why I Started Pryor Knowledge

Education has never been just a career for me—it's always been about helping children discover what they're capable of.

Over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of serving students as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and K–8 principal. Throughout every role, one thing has remained constant: every student learns differently, and every child deserves someone who believes in them.

While schools are filled with dedicated educators, I also saw firsthand how difficult it can be to provide every student with the individualized time, encouragement, and support they need to truly thrive.

That's why I created Pryor Knowledge.

My goal is simple: to partner with families, build students' confidence, strengthen academic skills, and help children become independent learners who believe in themselves. Whether we're closing learning gaps, strengthening executive functioning skills, or preparing for an IEP meeting, I want every family to feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout the journey.

That mission doesn't end when I leave work—it carries into my own home.

My husband and I are raising four amazing children, and every stage of parenting has reminded me that no two kids learn, grow, or experience school in exactly the same way. Watching our children develop their own strengths, overcome challenges, and discover who they are continues to shape the way I support the families I work with.

When we're not juggling school, activities, and family life, you'll usually find us spending time together outdoors, playing board games, or working in the garden. Gardening has become one of my favorite ways to recharge. There's something incredibly rewarding about planting a seed, nurturing it with patience and consistency, and watching it grow over time.

In many ways, that's how I view education. Every child grows at their own pace. With the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, incredible things can happen.

Those are the same values that guide every partnership at Pryor Knowledge.

What You Can Expect Working With Me

Every student deserves an individualized approach, and every family deserves a trusted partner. Here’s what you can expect when we work together.

Lasting Confidence

My goal isn’t simply better grades—it’s helping students become confident, independent learners who believe in themselves and carry those skills far beyond the classroom.

Honest Partnership

I believe the best outcomes happen when families and educators work together. I’ll communicate openly, celebrate successes, and partner with you every step of the way.

Personalized Support

Every student receives an individualized plan built around their strengths, challenges, learning style, and goals. No two students are alike, and their support shouldn’t be either.

MY PHILOSOPHY

“Education is not about creating perfect students. It’s about helping every student discover how they learn best, develop confidence in their abilities, and build the skills to succeed long after our work together is complete.”

Every student deserves to be seen, understood, challenged, and encouraged. Tessa’s promise is to meet each learner where they are, celebrate every step of growth, and help build confidence and skills for life.
